The days are flying by as we get our routines established and our classrooms running; we're always surprised when 2:10 comes around! You do know, I'm sure, the old saying "Time flies when you're having fun!" and it certainly applies in this situation.
To keep things fresh for the students and for myself, I am trying some different things with my time with the 3rd grade, and not just the change in the curriculum and academic expectations. I'm trying once again, to incorporate more technology into our routines and into my professional routines.
The class started a writing blog last year with Ms. Poquette and as it was explained to me, the blog actually belongs to the students. I was thinking I would be creating one of my own this year for third grade, but I am inheriting the blog along with the class. This works for me! I will be figuring out passwords, parent access and all of the details in the very near future. It is linked to this site, and I have posted a new post, so that's a start.
Today my message is short and sweet, because I have more assessments to assess, a blog to explore and a few other things to fill my time. If you're reading this, my thanks! I appreciate the time you've taken. I will make additions to this site fairly regularly and work to keep the information contained current.
Enjoy the sunshine!
